If you want the best possible start to vaping, then do it with the eGo One XL!
Update: Check out the new Joyetech eGo One Mega V2 review.
Recently moving up and down the chart but now hits the number 1 spot! We have seen in the last few years the electronic cigarette market move forward considerably from the 1st generation known as the cigi-like electronic cigarette, and now more commonly seen is the 2nd generation which is the eGo e-cigarette, there is a 3rd generation which is generally your mods and sub ohm vaping but this is strictly for the pros! Well until NOW!
We at SmokeTastic believe in transparency and if such a product is better than other brands then we rank it fairly. It’s a shame other review sites don’t follow suit. Do your homework and read other reviews on this product to see why we had no choice but to rank it as one of the best electronic cigarette kits.
Joyetech were the original company to release the eGo electronic cigarette, but instead of sitting on their butts and patting themselves on their backs as they watch all the other manufacturers copy their designs they have yet again moved forward with their eGo ONE.
The eGo ONE has been designed with the thought of one electronic cigarette for everyone, whether you are a beginner just starting out vaping, or you are a heavy smoker who is always looking for the more vaper, also known as cloud chasers!
Have they achieved their goal! YES! It’s awesome!
I have to admit, I was looking at all the reasons not to rank it at number 1, but the small things that are slight niggles, really don’t add up to a lower score, and I’ll get to these a little later.
Let’s take a look now at the video review to see the eGo ONE in action:
So with the eGo One comes as standard with the following:
Basically everything except the e-liquid! The atomizers are obviously replaceable and last anything from a week to a month, depending on how regularly you smoke.
Ok so it’s time to talk a little about sub ohm vaping, which is basically vaping with a coil of less than 1 ohm, we described Sub Ohm Vaping in one of our blog posts, which is certainly worth a read. Before Joyetech and other brands such as Kanger and Aspire released their latest cartomizers, sub ohm vaping was only available to those who dared building their own coils, and required specialist batteries to handle the low resistance of these ohms. Although it was tricky and needed specialist knowledge the rewards were great, as the vapor content was just unmatched with anything on the market, it was also know to be dangerous. There were stories that the batteries would get hot and burn out and other stories going around the forums, it was widely accepted to stay away from sub ohm vaping unless you knew what you were doing!
Then came the market leaders with a clearomizer version, with their own safe batteries able to handle the low resistance and offer us a safe alternative.
The eGo ONE goes that extra step, and rather than produce a huge tank, and a huge battery that you need a suitcase to walk around with, produce an eGo version, which is not only smaller that the original eGo’s but also produces the vaper matched with the experienced specialists. Wow! Thank you Joyetech, but why has it taken so long!
Joyetech eVic Primo – One of the best box mods that Joyetech have produced. The kit version comes with the awesome Unimax 25 tank which completes this unit perfectly. Holds 2 x 18650 batteries and fires up to 200W the eVic Primo suits both intermediate vapers and expert vapers. Your going to love it!
I’ve already talked about the vaper content of the eGo ONE, but I just can’t say it enough, it’s simply awesome, and I don’t use that word many times in my reviews!
With the resistance of the atomizers being so low and thus the wattage being higher, some e-liquid mixes may struggle to hit the mark with the right flavour concentrate. I personally recommend going with a 50PG/50VG blend, take a look at KingZing electronic cigarette liquids, their e-liquids are specially developed to suit the kits they sell.
So what was I talking about earlier when I said I had a few tiny issues with the eGo ONE? Well here’s my list:
You see, the 3 small things are not enough to moan about in comparison with the overall performance of the eGo ONE. I haven’t met one person who dislikes the eGo ONE, it’s simple the product of the year… so far!
