Courtesy of its premium rating, the Think Vape Finder 250W TC Box MOD has the ability to provide high accurate wattage. The primary materials used to construct it consist of zinc alloy and leather, which is a kind of luxury in the vape world! In addition, the device integrates temperature control capability that ultimately contributes to its durability and popularity. You can also upgrade the firmware by just connecting to the PC and downloading the latest software.
The Think Vape Finder particularly targets vapers who find pleasure in building or using multiple coil system tanks, the more coils you have the more wattage you need to produce that full vapor and deep vapor cloud. This newest offering by Thinkvape has some quite impressive features – some borrowed from the currently available line of products while others entirely new. This device works perfectly with almost any atomizer you can think of due to its minimal resistance ranging from 0.1 ohms to 2 ohms with a TC range of 200 Fahrenheit to 600 Fahrenheit. The 250W box mod was built as a high-end vape, aimed at being one of the best box mods for more experienced vapers and is powered by 3 of the 18650 cells so that it can truly achieve its 250 watts output.
One fact that gives the 250W box mod a tick is the fact that it has these 3x 18650 batteries, this means that not only can you achieve 250W with relative ease, but the vape mod is not going to go flat after a few vapes at this wattage! If you vape at a lower wattage, like most of us, then this thing is going to last days!
Just as pointed out, the Think Vape Finder 250W derives its power from 3 18650 batteries, which are sold separately. Its power output can be anywhere between 1 watt to 250 watts, with a 0.1 ohms to 2 ohms atomizer resistance.
The device’s temperature control capability is top notch, with specs being as follows – TC: 200 to 600oF. What this means is that your cotton and coil are safe from that burning taste and neither will it give you dry hits, which is an excellent feeling by the way. It integrates temperature control modes which support Titanium (Ti), Nickel 200 (Ni200) and Stainless Steel 304,316,317 (SS) coils which you can read more about here if you’re not sure the difference between them. The device also integrates the Temperature Factor of Resistivity (TFR) and Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (TCR) mode to help it last.
You can easily access the batteries by opening the battery door at the back, shown in the picture, the door is kept closed by 2 strong magnets at either end of the mod. You can conduct an onboard charging but the best option would be to charge the batteries externally as this guarantees safety and sturdiness.
The manufacturers had one goal in mind, and that is to make a top-of-the-line vape mod to compete with the best box mods on the market. As you would expect from a known and reputable manufacturer, the Finder 250W is more durable than any of its peers, a feature attributed to its stainless steel body. The constructing material gives it a hefty feel and is able to withstand daily deterioration. The calculated size of the device is 41mm x 89mm x 49.5mm with a weight of 155 grams, thus making it easier enough to carry around with you.
The available colors are shown in the picture, we really liked the black and red design, although we are a little concerned that the leather may stain after some use!
So far, the main features can be broken down as follows:
As you can see from the specifications, it is possible to keep your Finder 250 up-to-date with software updates. You are availed with the Escribe software that you can use to configure, monitor and modify how your device is operating, which seems to be the trend these days, although I’ve yet to meet a true vaper who uses it religiously!
Even though the likeness is striking, the Think Vape Finder 250W TC Box MOD is shorter compared to the Think vape finder DNA 250 167W box mod but it’s not exactly a unit you should be using if your a smoker looking for an e cigarette!
There is no doubt that the market is filled with vape mods that can offer state-of-the-art performance. However, the Think Vape Finder 250W is arguably a step ahead of the others with some of the cool features we mentioned in this review. No, it’s not on the top of the list as the best e cig, but if you’re a serious vaper looking for power that lasts then this well be the vape mod you’re looking for.
