Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus Full Review
Do not be fooled with the inclusion of ‘213’ in its name because the Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus can achieve as much as 223 watts even though its price ranges from $65 to $90. During the early stages of the vaping industry, users made demands for higher power mods and the Chinese manufacturer was ready to deliver that. They began with the 50W box, then the 100W which was followed by the 150W and now we have the 213W. The changes are ever forthcoming in the battle to produce the best box mod!
TFT Color Screen Display
Among the quickly noticeable adjustments, the good folks at Sigelei improved the display with a TFT color screen known for its colorful nature. The 0.96-inch display is a perfect size, so no more straining your eyes trying to read your resistance levels!
The LED screen colors change depending on your usage of the mod. For instance, battery power usage will trigger a change in the battery indicator color. A pair of the 18650 batteries when fully charged will be shown by a white color and will change to orange as the batteries wind down while the red color is a signal you need to do a battery recharge.
You will also realize the wattage indicator undergoes color changes from white-orange-red with each increase in power. Your draw length is shown by the colorful circle. Apart from just sending important information, the colors are great-looking.
The screen’s display is extra bright with the black background perfectly displaying white characters. Some of the information you get here to include amperage and battery charge numeric. The information is comprehensively provided including a graphical indication of the battery strength.
Following Excellent Footsteps
The Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus was preceded by very successful parents, including the Sigelei Snow Wolf 218W and the Sigelei Fuchai 213 Mini 80W box mods. The 213 fairly fought against some threatening controversies, paving the way for the 213 Plus to deeply root itself in the market for the experienced vapers. Some people raised concerns that the 213 wasn’t really able to achieve up to the 213 rating it purported to have while its temperature control wasn’t that accurate when the temperatures were higher than normal.
These are among the first issues that Sigelei had to tackle in the Plus and even made it hit higher watts than what’s shown on paper. The company made this deliberate step despite being very much aware that most vapers do not actually need 200 Watts. However, there are some exceptional cases in which 200 Watts will be required continuously especially when the user combines multiple coils to an RDA. The Fuchai 213 Plus has a top rating and its performance is exemplary since it follows many successful models and manufacturer experience.
Comments on the Design
Its aluminium frame boasts of gray zinc alloy that lies perfectly side by side with the smooth carbon-fiber material. The 213 plus was manufactured in a number of color versions – gray/black, gold-zinc alloy and a few more shown in the image. One that is more exciting is the gray/black version which, to some extent, gives you a weapon-like sensation!
The 213 Plus weighs some 185g despite its relatively compact size. This is the typical weight for most dual-18650 mods but is a bit of a surprise compared to the 74g of the triple-18650 SMOK GX 350 Quad Mod. Even though the device is attractive, I feel the design team may have placed lots of focus on durability rather than beauty.
A look at the front edge shows the display and adjustment buttons while the USB port and the asymmetrical firing button well placed on the short side. Sigelei was more creative in building the fire button as they did not just make it clickable but also enhanced the clicky feeling with a metallic-sounding. You do not feel any button rattle, making the use of this device an awesome one.
Kit Includes

Guaranteed Durability
Sigelei’s reputation in manufacturing top quality e-cigarettes goes almost unchallenged with only a handful of companies that can compete, and so you naturally expect the Sigelei Fuchai 213 Plus TC Mod to continue the trend. The 213 Plus integrates temperature control modes which support Titanium (Ti), Nickel 200 (Ni200) and Stainless Steel 304,316,317 (SS) coils which you can learn more about here. The device also integrates the Temperature Factor of Resistivity (TFR) and Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (TCR) mode to help it last longer.
Our Final Thoughts
As already highlighted, the 213 Plus inherits the 213 features and makes some much called for adjustments, including a more user-friendly display. The most important inheritance is probably the preheat setting which puts you in command of the wattage for a given period of time.
If you were unable to buy the Fuchai 213 due to the price then the Fuchai 213 Plus is your best bet. Go for it!
