VooPoo has been known for producing quality vape devices, so we are pretty excited to receive the new VooPoo Argus XT and MT Starter Kits to test and review. These two devices share similar features and specifications, but the key difference is the MT version has a built in 3000mAh battery, whilst the XT version uses an external 18650 or 21700 battery making it a few mm larger. So, in our review we will be discussing the VooPoo Argus XT and MT Starter Kits in more detail, so let’s get on with our review!

First Impressions

The VooPoo Argus XT and MT Starter Kits are both aesthetically pleasing devices, it looks really good when holding in your hand. The devices are made with a combination of Zinc Alloy, silicone and Leather, making them reasonably light weight, but of a quality feel. The leather on the device provides a comfortable grip, while the silicone offers added durability. They come in a variety of colors, which may be expanded in the future, but your sure to find one that suits your taste.

The VooPoo Argus XT and MT Starter Kits are also IP67 rated, making them corrosion, shock, and water-resistant. This is a significant feature that sets these devices apart from other starter kits on the market, giving you a more premium vape. The devices can withstand immersion in water of up to a meter for 30 minutes, making them perfect for outdoor use, but don’t expect the tank to survive under water. If it were to fall in water, you would have to change the coil, but the device would still work.

Features and Functions

One of the notable features of the VooPoo Argus XT and MT Starter Kit is the GENE TT 2.0 Chipset. This chipset is responsible for the device’s high performance and excellent functionality. It enables the device to deliver a maximum output of 100 watts and supports four output modes – VW (RBA), SMART, TC (Ni, SS, Ti), and Turbo.
