In-depth Review of the SMOK MICO Kit
Today we will be talking about the SMOK MICO Kit which packs a powerful punch despite its small size. It is an affordable product with many features that make it stand out from the crowd. As with the previous reviews, we will address a certain number of topics in order to help you have a clear understanding of just what you get for your money with the SMOK MICO Kit. We will discuss what you get in the actual package, what are the specs of this product, why it is a well-balanced vape pod in comparison to other models and what is our general opinion after this close analysis. By the end, we hope that we were able to paint an unambiguous picture so that you can decide whether this kit fits your needs or not and maybe even make a purchase!

What You Get In The Kit?
When opening the box, you will find the SMOK MICO Kit, two SMOK MICO Pods, one which is a 0.8ohm Mech Coil (1.7ml) and another which is a 1ohm Mech Coil (1.7ml). Please keep in mind that neither of these coils comes with any e-liquid, meaning that you need to purchase your own e-liquid in order to use this product.
Apart from the actual MICO device, you will also get a lanyard; a standard USB Cable to charge your device and the User Manual. The SMOK MICO Kit does not come with a lot of extra goodies for you to test and use, offering a pretty standard but necessary set of items. We do not think that this is a bad thing at all, due to the size of the product which we will talk about in just a second, accessories would be very hard to incorporate.

From this very detailed list of specifications, we would like to address and comment upon a couple of them. First of all, the multiple color options are a definite plus since they allow the buyer this freedom of choice to pick their favorite option. One problem that some users may have an issue with is the small e-liquid capacity of just 1.7ml. This would mean that if you vape often you will have to keep adding more e-liquid which can be tiresome for some people. Regardless of that, with a product that is this small, you cannot expect to have a large storage place for e-liquid. If you want to compromise on the size of the kit, you will also have to sacrifice some storage capacity.
One of the features that we really like to see, and is very common amongst all the best e-cigarettes is that the SMOK MICO kit does allow USB charging. This makes it very comfortable to use since you can plug it in to charge on your laptop, your TV, basically any charging port that offers USB charging.
Performance
This is the question on everyone's mind and perhaps the most important thing that we are going to answer. Our overall answer is that yes, this is a good kit. Why? Well, despite its small size, it comes with a toggle on/off switch on the side making it safer when carrying around with you. Next, to the switch, you will find a LED indicator which will alert you by flickering for five times when switching on and indicating the battery life by changing color.
What we also like is the fact that the SMOK MICO kit focuses on a safe vaping experience. It has low voltage protection, short circuit protection, pod protection, and 8 seconds cut off if for some reason the device has a fault.
What makes it even more appealing, at least from our perspective is that it is built with ergonomic design in mind. This means that not only does it have a classy look to it but it also operates very well. The mouthpiece is shaped to fit your mouth easily in order to allow for an amazing vaping experience. The built-in battery will ensure that you are able to vape for the whole day without worrying that the device will run out of power.
The mesh coil, which is used for sub ohm vaping, produces a slightly warmer vape and in comparison to the standard 1-ohm coil is a little looser in the draw. The mesh coil does also produce a pretty good flavor, but performing mouth to lung inhales might be a little tricky, it's really more for direct lung inhales.

TL;DR
Well, from our side the SMOK MICO Kit is a definite good buy, it's small and one of the first pod systems that's built for the direct lung inhale vapers. It is a device with safety and pleasure in mind. It is small, lightweight, beautifully designed, and incredibly easy to carry around in your pocket.
The draw on the mesh coil is warm and flavorful along with being reasonable loose. Granted, the e-liquid capacity is relatively small, so most vapers will need to carry a bottle with them to fill up pretty regularly, but that's the sacrifice you make for having such a small pod!
Overall we were super happy with the performance of the MICO pod system and although it looks similar to the MyPod device, it is a better performing device.
