Wismec Sinuous Ravage Starter Kit Review Bottom Line

The Wismec Sinuous Ravage 230W and GNOME Evo Sub-Ohm Tank Starter Kit have been released as an improvement to their previous models, hosting a dual 18650 mod capable of running up to 230W with a nice large color screen and many function modes to keep even the most serious vaper happy. Overall a good looking and great performing mod.

Wismec Sinuous Ravage Mod

In-depth Wismec Sinuous Ravage 230 Review

The new vape mod kit from Wismec is the Sinuous Ravage 230 with a new beautiful design centered around the large, .45” color display and supports up to 230W of power. Does this new mod capture all the requirements from, both serious and new vapers, and how does it compete for the title of best vape mod? Well, we take a closer look to see:

Design of the Sinuous Ravage kits

Design

With the new dual 18650 battery Sinuous Ravage mod you get a slightly new look and design from Wismec. One featured change is the centered 510 thread at the top, allowing your tank to sit smack bang in the middle of the mod, providing a nice sense of balance.

There is also another reason for this design change, a lot of vapers complained with their previous Predator model that the tank could be knocked off relatively easy, so Wismec has made this pin a lot tougher to combat this problem.

Along one side of the mod is the huge firing button that makes it really easy to vape with, along with a nice large color screen to see the settings and make the required adjustments with the nicely placed menu buttons.

Overall the design and relatively small size of the Sinuous Ravage 230 really looks the part.

Screen, Menu and Functions

Screen displays for the Sinuous Ravage modOne of the things that make the Sinuous Ravage so nice is tvoltage color screen, which you can change to suit what you want to see.  Ok so it’s not a touchscreen, but for vape mods, we don’t think this is necessarily important.

The on-screen display gives you information about voltage, time, resistance, power mode, battery indicators, puff counter and of course wattage. Now although this sounds like a lot it’s really well laid out so you can see the indicators clearly.

To access the menu is the traditional 3 clicks of the firing button, upon which you are presented with the mode, settings, info and exit options. Clicking the fire button selects the required option. Within the mode settings, you can adjust it from wattage to temperature control along with choosing the correct type of coil. Within the settings mode, you can adjust the screen layout, within this option where you can change the puff counter to the clock etc.

The additional button above the fire button acts as a back option whilst on the menu. Alternatively when you are out of the menu area clicking it once allows you to enter stealth mode, ie it turns the screen off but you can still vape. Holding this button down changes the displays, so you can change the display, change the mode to these presets.

All these options are certainly nice and quite common with all the best e-cigarette products currently on the market.

The tank in the kit

The GNOME Evo Tank

AS part of the Wismec Sinuous Ravage kit you get the GNOME Evo tank that comes in 2 sizes; a 2ml version to suit and comply with the EU TPD legislation and a 4ml standard version. They have also released a new coil for this tank known as the WM01 which is a single 0.4-ohm head designed specifically for maximum flavor and huge amounts of vapor.

The tank features a top fill method that is now becoming the norm, but it also features a childproof lock where you have to pull the top cap up slightly to open. This is a little awkward but we understand their thoughts here, it also illuminates accidental spills. It doesn’t quite make our list of the top 5 sub-ohm tanks, but it’s still pretty good.

The airflow control is nice and large at the bottom of the tank, making it relatively easy to adjust to suit.

Performance

There is really not too much to complain about with the Sinuous Ravage kit, the mod and tank look beautiful together. The centered 510 also gives a better feel when vaping and as for the flavor, the Gnome tank really delivers.

The mod settings and display are really good, plenty of modes to choose from. The additional button above the fire button is a nice little touch.

To Conclude

Overall, a nice vape mod where you can adjust the display to suit you with plenty of mode option. The previous Predator model had complaints like the tank popping out. With the Wismec Sinuous Ravage, however, they have really stepped up their game and improved all these nags.

Is this the best e-cigs to quit smoking with? Well, it certainly has all the options for you, and if you’re up to trying vaping by using sub-ohm tanks then this is certainly a good option.

The kit featuring the Gnome tank really sets this kit off and make it one vape mod kit to consider.
