Most expensive vape pens and box mods

If you’ve ever looked at some of the more advanced vaping tools out there and though to yourself, “No one in their right mind would ever pay that kind of money just to vape” then chances are that you’ve never seen any of the truly expensive vape devices. If you had, then you’d realize that spending a few hundred dollars for what you believe to be the best electronic cigarette is a relatively minor investment – especially when you consider that you’ll get years of enjoyment out of that device. To put things in perspective, let’s take a quick look at some of the really expensive devices out there.

Vicious Ant’s Duke SX Stabwood Edition box modFor example, consider Vicious Ant’s Duke SX Stabwood Edition box mod. It costs around £799.99 – almost $1,000 USD – for this limited-edition device. For that investment, you’d get a device that’s operated by a SX350J V2 Mini Processor and powered by an 18650 battery. The box body is made from something called Stabilized Hybrid Wood, and the entire outer casing has been polished and finished by hand. They each come with their own unique serial number, as you would expect with any limited-edition set of collectible items.

SX350J Dual 18650 from Magic Valley VaporsOf course, if that sounds expensive to you then you might be alarmed to discover that the Duke SX costs pocket change when compared to some other devices. Take the SX350J Dual 18650, for example. How much do you think it would cost to 3D print a builder’s mod made of platinum? Well, if the good folks at Magic Valley Vapors have anything to say about it, that print job will cost you a cool $109,000. If that’s out of your price range, you could just opt for the 14k gold version that clocks in at a mere $38,000 per unit. 18k gold can be used for only $50,000.

As expensive as those options might seem, they’re nothing when compared to the real king of expensive vaping devices. Yes, you heard that right: pocket change. After all, what’s $100,000 when you could spend dozens of times that amount on something truly special? Because nothing says “I love you” like diamonds, right?

The Most Expensive e-Cig in the World

One Russian billionaire really knows how to impress the ladies. In an effort to convince his girlfriend to switch to vaping, this guy bought her a customized e-cigarette that is literally covered in two-carat diamonds – 246 of them to be exact. And every one is a flawless clear crystal stone worth just shy of $3,000. The largest diamond on the device is worth $74,000!

Of course, diamonds weren’t enough for this gem of a vaping device. The glass used in the design is Italian and hand-blown. It even comes with a base and button made of 24-carat gold! Every square inch of the device reeks of the most extravagant opulence, and yet it still manages to avoid looking overdone. In fact, it’s hard to describe the device as anything other than a work of art. Just google it online, and you’ll see exactly what we’re talking about; this thing is absolutely gorgeous.

Close up of the most expensive electronic cigaretteSo, how’d this elegant electronic cigarette come to be, and who ordered it? Well, we know more about the craftsmanship of the device than we may ever know about the mysterious billionaire who ordered it. Apparently, he wants to remain anonymous, and the company that made the vape pen will undoubtedly bury his identity – when you pay that kind of money for a product, you always get that sort of respect for your privacy.

The UK’s Shisha Sticks made the device on commission as reported by the Daily Mail in the UK. The design and craftsmanship reportedly required four months of painstaking efforts, and cost was apparently not a factor. As one company representative noted, “This was a dream brief for us. We were asked to design the ultimate shisha vaping device for class, style and luxury. We were told that, within reason, money was no object on the project. Once the design was approved we set about sourcing the finest diamonds, yellow crystals, glass and gold available.”

The result was spectacular. Dubbed the Shisha Sticks Sofia, this jewel-encrusted vaping device would look right at home in a case surrounded by the Crown Jewels. But more important than its appearance is the fact that this is a fully functional electronic cigarette that should incentivize the unnamed girlfriend to set aside her harmful tobacco cigarettes forever! After all, it’s difficult to imagine any smoker who wouldn’t throw away his or her tobacco for a chance to own this pricey piece of engineering and artistic excellence.

Oh, and for the record, the total price tag on the device easily ranks it as the most expensive vaping device we’ve ever read about. With hundreds of diamonds, gold, and hand-blown glass, the entire device was valued at $887,000 USD. Most of us don’t have homes that cost anywhere near that much money!

Sure, it’s easy to look at that $100 box mod you see online and think that it’s expensive. In a certain sense, that can be a costly outlay for many people. However, even the best box mods and vape pens seem more than reasonably priced when you start comparing them to limited-edition and customized vaping tools that can cost thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars. When it comes to the most expensive vape devices, extreme cost is apparently a matter of perspective.
