Sure, some cellphone users are going to be a little taken aback by the thickness and may take a while to become acclimated to using a touchscreen under those circumstances, but that learning curve should be easy to overcome.

 

Features

There are a great many functions and features packed into this little device. There are direct charging capabilities and a variety of modes that should satisfy your vaping preferences. For example, the Charon offers a taste-centric VM mode, temperature control that accommodates nickel 200, Titanium, and stainless steel, and a resistance range that can get down as low as .05 ohms. That’s impressive!

At first glance, the outer shell might not seem like it was given much attention, but there’s a reason. The large touchscreen provides all the attractions you need to fall in love with the Charon. The polished screen is like many of today’s cell phone screens – expansive and responsive in a way that most LED screens and control buttons simply cannot match.

How responsive? In our tests, we were impressed by the quick reaction time that occurred whenever we touched the screen. We were also happy to see that SMOANT went to great lengths to pack as many of the mod’s control operations into the touchscreen mode as possible. We were able to accomplish almost everything using just that interface. Again, this is a major step forward for the vaping industry and helps to close the tech gap between vaping products and other popular devices.

From that touchscreen, you can see your battery life, energy usage, and other important settings and information. For those who are concerned that they might inadvertently mess up their settings with the touchscreen, there’s even an added level of protection for wattage. Those settings are locked until you consciously unlock them using a button placed next to the firing control.

Enough about the touchscreen.
