In-depth Glas Basix Series Review

Glas have been creating e-lquids for some time now in their ISO & GMP Certified Facilities. So what have they learned over the years and how do their flavours compete in the market? We take their popular Basix Series range and give them a go to see.

 

Bottles

Glas has a couple of different lines on offer as far as e-liquids go, but their Basix Series is meant for the everyday vapor, away goes the fancy, expensive bottles and incomes the pretty standard plastic bottles.

We actually prefer these types of bottles, especially when dripping, it makes the whole process so much easier, and a lot less accidental drips on and around your mod!

We make it sound like the Basix Series is a cheap product, but its far from that. The quality of the packaging competes with most of the reputable companies out there, you do get a sense of quality when handling the package which helps grow your anticipation when first using this juice! Of course, the flavor does depend a little on the device you use, but the 70/30 VG/PG ratio should enable the juice to be used on all the best e-cigarettes and devices out there!

Nice easy to squeeze bottles with all the information clearly displayed on the lable, with different colors to easy show the different flavors. What more could you ask for!
 

Flavors on Offer

Glas has a number of flavors in the Basix Series, these include:

• Strawberry Gummy – Described as a sour Strawberry with a sweet and sour taste. We thought it tasted more like a strawberry lemonade flavor. Strawberry is one of the most popular flavors in the vaping world and Glas’s version is no disappointment. Probably one of the best flavors they have to offer.
• Blueberry Cake – One of their more popular e-liquids, in fact winning the “Best In Show” category in 2017 at the Vaper Expo in the UK. Described as vanilla cake with notes of sweet butterscotch and fresh blueberries many people consider this to be there all day vape. Meaning one juice they can vape all day without getting tired of.
• Butterscotch Reserve – Glas have taken the popular RY4 flavor that many manufacturers release, only adding deeper and richer caramel and butterscotch to the mix. Usually, we don’t like tobacco flavors, but with Butterscotch Reserve the tobacco flavors are hardly present, so a big thumbs up from us!
• Fizzy Lemonade – Glas have taken the traditional lemonade flavor and added a fizzy menthol layer, we didn’t pick up on the menthol, but the citrus and fiz we certainly got!
• Sugar Cookie – Sometimes overlooked is their Sugar Cookie flavor, a taste of buttery cookies with golden brown sugar. If you’re into your sweet tasting vapor, then this is a must to try.
• Caribbean Punch – If you like your tropical fruits, then Caribbean Punch is the choice for you! A deep succulent peach mix with pineapple, apples, apricot, and strawberries, this flavor needs to be on your list!

Like we said, there’s really not a bad flavor in the bunch, you can also opt for all flavors and many vape stores offer these at discount prices. We’ve listed the best above!

 

Quality of the Juice

We really go by the smoothness and how the flavor vapes in order to describe the quality of the e-liquid. We know many consider the state of your coils to be a sign of how well the liquid is made, but that’s simply not true. If your coils are turning black quickly, it’s only because of the sweet sugary flavors of the juice caramelizing on the coils and turning your cotton black.

Back to the quality with Glas, usually you get one or two flavors that you just can’t get on with, but we were pleasantly surprised with the range and quality that Glas offered.

All their juices are easy and smooth to vape compared to the other e-liquids we have reviewed, so if you vape all day and want an all day juice then all of Glas’s Basix Series flavors should suit.

Alone with the smoothness of vape, you get the reassurance that Glas use only the top quality ingredients, with each range has a certificate of conformity and each bottle having its own identifiable batch number.

 

To Conclude

Glas has been in the vaping world for some time, and it’s nice to see a brand aiming their products to the more experienced and heavy vapers who want deep all day vape liquids.
