SMOK Vape Pen Plus Full Review
The SMOK Vape Pen Plus is a lightweight pen-style vape kit that is somewhat thicker than other slimline vaping pens but is still easy to pop into a bag or pocket for convenient vaping anywhere you want. Let’s have a look at the differences between the SMOK Vape Pen 22, and SMOK’s newer vaping pen devices, the SMOK AIO, and the Vape Pen Plus. The great news is that the SMOK Vape Pen Plus is an improvement on their Vape Pen 22, with some fully compatible parts.
You can find a great variety of bigger and more advanced mods, but most vapers like to have a discreet go-to device which they can use anywhere and anytime without sacrificing taste and the satisfaction of a big, fat cloud of vapor. But does this make it one of the best vape pens on the market? Well let’s now take a closer look:
Built-in battery: The 3000mAh Lithium battery is a massive jump from the Vape Pen 22 and the AIO’s 1600mAh to provide a better vapor output and last much longer. If you are a very heavy vaper, the Vaper Pen Plus comes with its own Micro-USB charger which you can use with your laptop or computer to recharge. This is an elegant and convenient solution for technology users.
Break it Up: Simplified maintenance is easy with the ability to completely take the Vape Pen Plus apart to clean or switch out every individual part. If you have any spare parts for the Vape Pen 22 left over, you can slot them in as the coils are compatible.
Top refilling: The SMOK leak-proof glass tank is a firm favorite and easy to refill. Just screw off the rotary cap and drip-feed your choice of e-juice into the slot. However, the Vape Pen Plus pleasantly surprises with a rather large capacity for equipment as compact as this pen – it offers a 4ml tank. This minimizes refilling and even heavy vapers could get through a whole day without having to refill the tank.
Sophisticated looks: The Vape Pen Plus is slightly thicker than its stablemates, but it is still a sleek and stylish piece of equipment! The ever-popular black, silver and sassy 7-color mix colors combine seamlessly with the Pyrex glass portions to finish off its modern look.
Sturdy construction: SMOK used a top quality stainless steel to guarantee long-term use and the entire kit weighs just 125g. The diameter is 24.5mm, but it is slightly shorter at 118.4mm long. Perfect Pocket-size!
Safety features: Safety has become standard with non-negotiable built-in features, and all SMOK vape pens offer smart-chip technology with multiple automatic protective features. This means that the 8 seconds cut-off system and short-circuit protection is present and that your safety is ensured with both low resistance and low voltage protection systems.
Just one button: It’s superbly simple – you never need to watch readings or settings. Like the AIO, the only button is a power on / power off setting, but this button is also an intelligent LED indicator that uses simple signals to let you know when you need to charge. The indicator blinks 4 times when you take a puff, but will flash 15 times to indicate a low battery warning. The flashing means that the voltage is below 3.3V and that you need to recharge the battery.
Dual coils: The Vape Pen Plus comes with two 0.25Ω dual coils, one of which is pre-installed in your stick and ready for use. The 0.25Ω gives you some massive clouds of vapor – be warned, it is not the right gear for stealth vaping! The combination with the excellent SMOK e-juice wicking system delivers great taste.
Smooth airflow: Two holes in the battery top part provide the airflow system for a smooth draw.

Overall
Simple, easy, great taste and vapor which is all we want from the best brands. Like SMOK’s AIO it is a wonderful starter kit for beginners but also for light to medium vapers, or just an extra unit to keep handy in case you run out of batteries or find yourself in a situation where you don’t want to take your mod along. The extended battery life and generous tank capacity make it a great option for everyday vapers who don’t want to fuss with mod cons.
