Aspire Breeze 2 Pod Bottom Line

Aspire has released a new version of the Aspire Breeze with a larger battery and tank, along with a couple of other cosmetic changes. What you get now is improved performance with the 1000mAh battery and still, a great vape for both mouth to lung/nicotine salt vapers and direct lung inhale vapers. Still small enough to fit in your pocket and forget its there, overall we were super happy with the Breeze 2.

Aspire Breeze 2 Pod System

In-depth Aspire Breeze 2 Vape Pod Review

Aspire has taken the pod system to a new level with the original Breeze, but now they have taken the feedback for their customers and improved it even more with the new Aspire Breeze 2. So how good is the Breeze 2 in comparison to the best vape pods on the market? There’s only one way to find out, continue reading!

Design

The Aspire Breeze 2 is slightly bigger than other pod vapes on the market measuring in at 96mm tall, which included the mouthpiece and cover, 35mm wide and 19mm depth, but although it’s bigger it is still small and still very pocketable.

There are advantages to the size, the 2 main improvements are the battery size, which is 1000mAh which you hardly see on pod system and the other is the size of the tank, able to hold up to 3ml of e-liquid.

The main body is made of a light Aluminium alloy, and comes in a whole host of colors, 7 in fact, including; red, blue, black, grey, rainbow, gold and also a camo which looks like army camouflage.

The fire button is conveniently placed in the center of the pod system, it uses the 5 clicks on and off feature and you do need to press it when you vape. They have also repositioned the USB port for charging which is now on the side of the Breeze 2 to allow charging whilst standing up.

Features

The Aspire Breeze 2 does not have a screen or any wattage control. It will simply discharge over the course of the battery life. But they have included some LEDs to enable the user to gauge the amount of battery life left. Different colors represent the charge remaining:

  • Above 3.8V – LED color is blue and orange
  • Between 3.8-3.5V – LED color is blue
  • Below 3.5V – LED color is orange and requires a recharge

The LED lights themselves are not the easiest to see outside or in bright lights, but inside they’re easy to see.

The Breeze 2 also features some safety features including automatic cut off where the system will shut off if the fire button is accidentally pressed for longer than 10 seconds. It also has short circuit protection stopping the pod system from firing and low voltage along with overcharge protection to protect the longevity of the battery. To be honest, you see these safety features on all the best e-cigarette products these days, but it’s still good to see.

The Breeze 2 Pods

To remove the pod system from the battery you simply pull, you can also pull off the mouthpiece where you’re presented with the coil and the airflow, yes the airflow!

The Breeze 2 has airflow control which is just great to see, but it is rather hard to get too being under the mouthpiece, still happy to see it though!

2 Coils come with the Breeze 2 system, the 0.6ohm for more direct lung inhales and the 1-ohm coil which is for the use of nicotine salt e-liquids and mouth to lung vapers.

The base of the pod has a rubber stopper which you remove to fill the pod with your e-liquid, great to see another refillable pod system on the market. Some people experience hardship filling the device as there’s only one fill hole and has a hard time allowing the air to escape. To avoid this pull the rubber stopper off completely, and you’re presented with another hole, to allow that air to escape without any leakage. It was designed that way and another plus.

Performance

Starting off with the 0.6ohm coil and the airflow wide open using a traditional e-liquid (not nicotine salts), we’re super happy with the taste, the flavor certainly comes through. The vape cloud isn’t huge, so don’t expect to be competing against the best vape mods for those clouds, but still satisfying.

Flicking over to the 1-ohm coil and using nicotine salt based juice, we found turning the airflow to half improved the performance for us, but it’s a personal thing so don’t be afraid to try different settings. The vape is extremely smooth, even with the higher nicotine levels that you get with the salts.

The overall performance of the Aspire Breeze 2 is really pleasant, a good flavor and cloud content with a smooth vape, especially considering its size.

To Conclude

We’re super happy with the 1000mAh battery, although it’s unregulated and slowly discharges over usage, we didn’t suffer any vape performance drop off until the battery was lower than 3.5V or after the orange light indicator showed up.

The vape performance is also really good producing some really good flavor with the 0.6-ohm coil, and a real smooth vape with nicotine salt e-liquids and the 10ohm coil. A really good solution for those smokers looking for an e-cig, as you have the choice to try both mouth to lung and direct lung inhale vapes with relative ease.

Overall a really good vape pod that fits nicely in your pocket yet produces a real satisfying vape. If you’re after a larger battery pod, with a good e-liquid capacity that’s easy to carry around with you then the Aspire Breeze 2 is going to be hard to beat.
